Graduate from the Part-Time Seminary by completing 8 core credits, 8 elective credits, and 4 Arabic credits. The seminary may be completed in a minimum of two years across four semesters. Students will also have the option to go at their own pace and complete it over a longer period.

Tazkiya: Steps of a Seeker
This elective delves into Imam al-Muhasibi’s Risalah al-Murshidīn to guide spiritual purification. We will explore inner awareness, ethical discipline, and soul refinement through classical insights, fostering character growth, self-knowledge, and a deeper, mindful connection with Allah.

Foundational Forty: Arbaeen An Nawawi
This class explores Imam An-Nawawi’s Forty Hadith, guiding students through essential Prophetic teachings. The course deepens understanding of core Islamic principles, encourages ethical practice, and fosters spiritual growth through reflection on key hadith and their real-life application.

This course builds on Arabic 201 by deepening vocabulary and advancing grammatical understanding through continued study of Madinah Book 2. We will enhance reading fluency, analyze more complex sentence structures, and strengthen ability to comprehend the Quran & essential Islamic Arabic texts.

Ustadh Abdurrahman Justin Wood is an American Imam, Speaker, and Leader born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He accepted Islam at age 17 after studying the life of Malcolm X and researching religion and philosophy. To gain a deeper understanding of Arabic and Islamic sciences, he traveled to Makkah, Saudi Arabia and completed an American Imam certificate course. Upon returning to the United States, he focused on helping young American Muslims embrace the relevance and practicality of Islam, establishing and supporting youth initiatives in multiple communities. He also serves as Ameer of AlMaghrib's Columbus, Ohio.
Ustadh Mohamed Noor is a dedicated instructor at Siraaj Institute and Ma'had ibn Taymiyah. Involved in Dawah since age 15, he has more than a decade of experience in Islamic education and outreach. For almost a decade, he has taught Arabic grammar, Hadith, Tafseer, Aqeedah, and Fiqh. Ustadh Mohamed began his studies in Columbus, Ohio, graduating from the Ma'had at Masjid ibn Taymiyyah, and has studied with scholars from Somalia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, and Senegal. He also pursued advanced studies abroad in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. His diverse educational background, along with his commitment to nurturing the next generation of Muslim scholars and leaders, make him a highly respected figure within the community.
Sheikh Hassan Noor is an accomplished scholar specializing in Islamic law. He graduated with First Class honors from the College of Islamic Law at Imam University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in legal theory at Al-Madinah International University in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
With years of teaching experience at Ibnu Taymiyah Islamic Center in Columbus, Sheikh Hassan is known for his insightful presentations on Islamic jurisprudence. He has taught courses in Arabic, Fiqh, Legal Theory, and Islamic Texts.
